Praises!
It's that time of the year again, and the guild has started planning for this year's Level Up Live 2009! I'd link to their LU Live 2009 microsite but I don't think it's up yet. We like to plan early (we're actually starting late this year), to avoid complications. Basically, the guild is going for more fun activities this year. We still have leftover merchandise from last year and we'll just resell them on top of the games that we'll be having at the booth.
We won't be divulging the game that we thought of, but it resembles a carnival game. There will be prizes of course, but that's something we're still discussing at this point in time. One thing that's constant every year is budget concerns. For this, we have plans of holding fund raising activities within the guild. We're currently open to suggestions, but the plan is to gather around Php 30,000. Excess funds will be used for future guild IRL activities, of course.
One of the other things that we're discussing is the costume or costumes that will be worn by our muses. Yes, plural! MUSES. Astraea will cosplay this year, officially and she has our support! Go Asty! Zeph Espino has already promised that she wants to cosplay again this year. But, we haven't got to the point of picking a costume for her. I'm currently having discussions with another cosplayer, whose name I'll divulge once I'm done talking to her about her plans.
That's all for now. We'll update everyone if ever we finalize some things. One thing's for sure, we won't announce what our cosplayers will be wearing.
