Me and the Mod

As an amateur online gamer, I’ve dealt with different games that requires different play styles and attitudes. RF online being my main domain has already managed to infiltrate my brain that makes me crave for it day after day.

Today marks the start of the 2x mod and as expected more players are online, eager to experience the prize after obtaining the sweet victory of the event held last time.

As I logged in to the game, solus settlement is crowded with people who have diverse goals to maximize the mod, some wants their levels to go higher, some tries to catch up with their pt’s and some farms to earn more dallant. But as they say, even good things has their own corresponding disadvantages, since there are more characters online, the accretians and corites seems to be taking this chance to also maximize their contribution points to the fullest.

Of course, upon hearing about the mod I won’t just lie low and let everyone have fun on their own!  I am also one of those who wants to be rich by the end of the mod since I’m planning to buy GM reavers for the good of my character, but different problems occurred during my farming phase. First, the people in dry moor are so selfish that they try to lure all the AB’s for their own sake, which means there’s nothing left for me, so I tried a different place. As I went into crawler woods I noticed several AB’s being left on their own so I took my chances, everything went smoothly not until the second problem occurred, someone invited me into a party so that I can help them gain a level and since I’m farming I agreed, but as the PL’ing goes on I noticed my party members also getting the loots even though I already told them I’m after the loots. It’s like they have some sort of brain damage that won’t understand what I’m trying to say over and over again, so I decided to leave the party and we went our own separate ways haha!

I found a place in crawler woods where in I can have two AB’s for my own and continued my farming, then “tsumauh” asked me to have him in my party and unlike my former party members, he was good to deal with, he understood what I’m trying to say and used his time wisely by killing his own mobs while I kill the AB’s.

This continued for a long time until a new member joined the party, but then minutes passed she started saying that we transfer to another place so that she can have her pt’s. Of course I was annoyed but I just said I’d rather stay where I was than go to where the commotion is.

I was happily farming and my party member happily PT’ing and gaining experience, then a voice came out behind me saying that he will be using the computer after he goes back, figures, it’s my brother and no matter how I want to continue playing of course I would let my brother play, it’s a family PC after all.

My brother came home as soon as possible, or maybe I just didn’t noticed the time because I’m focusing on the game, so anyways my turn with the computer ended when an accretian noticed our isolation area and killed us both.
